Spring Creek – Killawarra National Park

What an amazing little wonderland.

Easily accessible for the bush walker offering a little slice of heaven during the wetter months. This is a semi dry Sclerophyll forest living season to season, wet to dry to wet to dry etc.

Xanthorrhoea glauca subsp. angustifolia

Flower species galore, water in the creek, wallabies, kangaroos, echidna and many bird species inhabit the forest.

The best time for viewing and photographing the various blooms is mid autumn to mid spring. Park-note-Warby-Ovens-National-Park

Further down the road is Killawarra State Park, another treasure of native flora in bloom during these times. Warby Ranges Park Notes

Happy viewing.
