Sunrise at Killawarra
Life in Killawarra....
Deciding to live in Killawarra was one of the best things I’ve ever done. Raising and breeding the birds gets me up really early most days so I have added an image or two of the morning in all its glory.
I am about 17 kms from town, Wangaratta, and around 30 from Yarrawonga. Right down the north/western end of the Warby Ranges in Victoria.
There are plenty of animals living here including Kangaroos, wallabies, echidna, goanna a few snakes and bird species galore.
Being a dry Sclerophyll forest it is a/the typical for looking after Guinea Fowl. They range around the property keeping an eye on things and warning of any foxes, snakes, hawks and eagles or anything that is out of place.
A little about me...
I have two beautiful daughters, one is a nurse and one’s a studying scientist. Two treasured friendships in my life.
I love the bush. I spend heaps of time walking and taking images of the nature and the natural wonders around me.
I am also interested in science and the way the universe works. I have studied and meditated on the Bhagavad Gita for many years to enlighten the Self to its own mastery. Its all in the journey IMHO. Realising how much you don’t know….now there’s something.
Reading on science, botany, perception in human society, anthropology, the latest break throughs etc. love ’em all!
